CTIA TRP and TIS test indicator requirements

TRP refers to the total radiated power, which refers to the average value of the external radiated power of the transmitter in the stereo omnidirectional direction, relative to the peak effective radiated power (ERP) and the conducted radiated transmit power.

TIS refers to the total omnidirectional sensitivity, which refers to the average receiver sensitivity of the receiver in stereo omnidirectional direction, relative to the conductivity of the receiver. TIS considers the matching factor of the antenna and also considers the receiving performance of the receiver in three-dimensional space. Therefore, the receiver’s receiving ability of the mobile phone can be more comprehensively measured. Generally speaking, the larger the TRP value of the mobile phone, the better the TIS value. The better the small, compared to the traditional mobile phone RF performance, it is necessary to test the TRP and TIS of the mobile phone.

Construction of the antenna darkroom:

After the installation of the shielded room is completed, Pu-Absorber is attached to the four walls, ceiling, and floor. That is, it constitutes an antenna darkroom. Tonglu Company has advanced construction technology, and the absorbing absorbing material uses a fork-shaped hook and loop fastener and a devil’s felt to ensure that it does not fall off. In the corner and other detail processing, a pyramidal absorber that is cut into a 45-degree angle with a single oblique side and a double oblique side (the general company corner is a flat absorber) can ensure that the entire sticker is dense. Therefore, the absorbing effect will be very good, the performance of the darkroom can be guaranteed, and the darkroom is easy to relocate and renovate.

Basic facilities for the darkroom of the antenna:

1. Shielded enclosure: Built with American assembly technology to ensure shielding effectiveness, it also ensures the durability of the shielded room and can be relocated or expanded as a whole.

2. Shielding door: full opening size 0.9m × 2.1m, electric, manual or pneumatic opening.

3. Waveguide vents: 2, size 300mm × 300mm.

4. Electrical system: lighting fixtures, sockets.

5. The four walls, ceilings, and floors in the darkroom are covered with microwave absorbing materials, and the walkway-type absorbing body is formed in the shape of a plaque from the screen door to the antenna frame and the turntable. The flame retardant properties of the absorbing materials meet the NRL 8093-94 and DIN 4102 Class B-2 standards.
